Vietnam Unit Files began as a series of conversations. First, with my dad, a Vietnam combat veteran, stricken with Agent Orange caused cancer. Second, with others about their families' connections to the Vietnam War. Third, with several individuals that asked for my help in researching their families' military histories.

The realization that the Vietnam War-Era veterans were passing away and leaving bits and pieces of their service behind for the rest of us to find and interpret lead me to create Vietnam Unit Files website. As it grows, so does the cost to maintaining and expanding it.

Every item in this collection supports the mission of teaching, honoring, and remembering those that served during the Vietnam War. “Buy Me Beans” helps fund new research and site growth, with 100% of the proceeds going to website development. The profits of the other items in this collection supports the mission.
